Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies as needed, and assist in beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and exciting
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during busy service periods like nightclubs or banquets
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment for all patrons

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in processing cash transactions accurately
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced settings like fine dining establishments or nightclubs
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate order entry and cash handling
• Previous experience in hospitality industry roles including bartending, serving, or restaurant management; catering or banquet experience is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends in lively environments such as nightclubs or large events
