Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders for beverages and food with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beers using established recipes and creative mixology techniques
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS efficiently to process cash transactions, credit cards, and tabs accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Develop beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest experience while promoting specialty drinks and seasonal offerings
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies as needed, and assist with bar management tasks during shifts
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a lively yet professional atmosphere
• Support food service operations by serving meals promptly and assisting with catering or banquet events when required
• Uphold all hospitality industry standards including responsible alcohol service, cash handling accuracy, and safety protocols

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender or server in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and cocktail mixology techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders seamlessly during busy hours
• Experience in beverage recipe development and creating innovative drink menus is highly desirable
• Previous food industry experience including food handling, serving, catering events or banquet service is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while maintaining professionalism
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and accurate bill splitting

Pay: $17.75 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
