Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks accurately, following recipes and safety standards.
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders, payments, and receipts swiftly.
• Serve food items promptly and ensure all dishes meet quality standards before delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashing out guests and balancing registers at shift end.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle special requests professionally.

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, with a strong background in bartending and serving roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of the food industry’s best practices in hospitality, including responsible alcohol service.
