Bartender/Server

Overview
Red, Wine & Brew Mentor is hiring a Full Time/Part Time Bartender. Bartender experience required as we are beginning our "BUSY" season. No late nights needed as the restaurant is open Tuesday-Thursday 3pm-9pm, Friday/Saturday 3pm-10pm, Sundays 11am-9pm. Closed Mondays and all major holidays.

Great seasonal menus, clientele, live music nights, game specials, Happy Hour specials and more offered at RWB.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure an enjoyable experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and organizing supplies.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred.
• Experience using Toast POS system
• Strong math skills for accurate drink measurements and cash handling.
• Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
