As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with patrons to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and recommend menu items.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including operating a cash register and processing payments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or special occasions to ensure smooth service.
• Stay updated on drink trends and new cocktail recipes to enhance the menu offerings.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for maintaining safety standards.
• Experience in the food industry or retail sales is beneficial for understanding customer service dynamics.
• Strong cash handling skills and basic retail math proficiency are necessary for accurate transactions.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations.
