Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service while crafting delicious beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to engage with customers and provide top-notch service will contribute significantly to the overall atmosphere of our establishment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
• Process orders efficiently using the Aloha POS system, ensuring accurate billing and timely service.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink pairings for catering events or special occasions.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred, particularly in bartending or related roles.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell drinks and menu items effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus, especially for establishments that offer craft beers or specialty drinks.
• Experience working in nightclubs or catering events is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
