Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing cash and card transactions efficiently
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and tracking consumption to minimize waste
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy hours to ensure smooth service flow during food delivery or catering events such as banquets or nightclubs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Food safety certification and understanding of proper food handling practices required
• Experience with cash handling, basic math skills for retail math calculations, and cashiering procedures
• Familiarity with beverage trends such as craft beer brewing or spirits tasting is a plus
• Previous experience in banquet or catering environments is advantageous

Pay: From $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
