Job description ***PLEASE NOTE- DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE! *** DO NOT APPLY WITH A RESUME THAT HAS NO BARTENDING EXPERIENCE LISTED Responsibilities: - Knowledgeable about beer / beer industry - Ensuring that our guests feel welcomed, are well informed about beer choices and are served quickly and efficiently Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude. Answer questions and educate guests about Wolfden, local breweries and beer in general *This includes: color, clarity, carbonation, head retention, aroma, mouthfeel/body, flavors, finish - Suggesting beers to guests based on their preferences - Staying updated on beer lists, hop profiles and menu items - Promote other items we offer for sale, as well as upcoming events - Maintain comfort & cleanliness throughout the tap room, cooler, restrooms, kitchen and beer garden - Prepare food orders - Ensure the tap room, counters, sinks, dishes, coolers, shelving and storage areas are clean and comply with established sanitation standards - Able to assist with brewery operations occasionally - Excellent communication skills and customer service skills Experience: - Beer industry experience- please do not apply if you are not knowledgeable about beer - Bartending or serving experience - Prior customer service or sales experience - Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment Requirements: - EXPERIENCE - Weekend availability - Beer knowledge - High school diploma/ GED - BASSET certified - Food Safety certified - Cicerone Certified Beer Server preferred Job Type: Part-time Compensation: $18.00 – $45.00 per hour on average after tips Benefits: - Employee discount - Flexible schedule - Fun atmosphere!
