Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing cash and card transactions efficiently.
• Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about menu items, and provide personalized service that exceeds expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies as needed, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours like nightclubs or banquet events.
• Uphold all health regulations related to alcohol service, including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption responsibly.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending, serving, or food service within a hospitality or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
• Extensive cocktail experience with a focus on mixology techniques and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits, craft beer varieties, brewing processes, and beverage presentation standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tables or bar stations efficiently.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail in order accuracy and cleanliness.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food safety practices.
