Join Our Team as a Bartender!

Are you passionate about crafting exceptional drinks and providing outstanding service? We're looking for a skilled bartender to join us at Mr. Hibachi. We are a Teppanyaki steakhouse that also serves sushi and cocktails. As part of our dynamic team, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your mixology skills while also ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and creativity.
• Provide attentive and friendly service to guests seated at the bar, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
• Take food orders from guests seated at the bar tables and accurately communicate them to the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with health regulations.
• Engage with guests to promote menu items, provide recommendations, and enhance their overall dining experience.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, while adhering to cash handling policies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment.
• Proficiency in preparing a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Strong knowledge of beverage trends, cocktails, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with basic food preparation or serving food in a bar setting.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Minimum two years preferred of bar experience - if not, willing to train.
TABC certified and registered Food Handlers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
