Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and make personalized recommendations.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to the bar’s creative offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash handling tasks with precision, including processing payments and giving accurate change using retail math skills.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when serving combined orders or catering events.
• Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with bar management duties to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
• Demonstrate excellent time management by balancing multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating an energetic atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within the hospitality industry; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Extensive cocktail experience with a solid understanding of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development.
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beer options, and beverage trends to inform guest recommendations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills; experience with cashiering or retail math is a plus.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• Hospitality industry experience including restaurant or catering roles; nightclub or bar management experience is advantageous.

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
