Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS systems, and ensuring all food safety and food handling standards are met. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with Micros POS are highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time management skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cashiering
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience
• Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
• Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels
• Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to food safety and alcohol service
• Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Demonstrate effective time management during busy periods to ensure prompt service

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending roles
• Familiarity with Micros POS or similar POS systems is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $17.90-$17.95 per hour
