Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences and enhance their dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Process cash transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to the bar’s creative menu offerings to keep the experience fresh and exciting
• Manage bar stock levels, restock supplies as needed, and monitor inventory to minimize waste and maximize profitability
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours such as banquets or nightclub events

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transaction management
• Proven experience in bartending, including mixology skills, cocktail creation, spirits knowledge, and beverage recipe development
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with a focus on hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and order delivery
• Knowledge of wine varieties, brewing processes, craft beer trends, and food safety standards within the food industry
• Excellent math skills for retail math calculations such as tips, bills, inventory counts, and basic accounting tasks
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on serving guests efficiently and courteously
