Bartender/Server

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beers, ensuring consistency with established recipes and presentation standards
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems process cash and card transactions swiftly and securely
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management and prioritization skills
• Assist with food service duties when needed, including serving food orders at the bar or in dining areas
• Support bar management by restocking supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring all beverage recipes are up-to-date and creatively developed

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems for processing transactions accurately
• Proven experience in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development
• Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a hospitality setting
• Ability to manage time effectively while serving multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours
• Experience working in fine dining establishments or catering environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling and billing processes
• Knowledge of brewing processes or craft beer trends is a plus for enhancing guest experience
