Bartender/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, preparing beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service for all customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred; bartending experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive atmosphere for guests.
• Knowledge of various drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Proficient in cash handling and experience with POS systems is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
