Bartender/Server

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server(s) to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties

• Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS system Toast.
• Serve beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
• Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist in food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to food safety protocols
• Provide attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices, including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption
• Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons

Skills

• Experience with POS systems, Toast, is preferred
• Previous upscale restaurant experience as a server or bartender is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
• Ability to serve guests courteously while maintaining efficiency under pressure
• Familiarity with the food service industry’s best practices in hospitality and serving techniques
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact positively with guests

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
