Bartender/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that patrons have a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and providing excellent service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their tastes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Provide exceptional service in fine dining enhancing the overall guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Bartender.
• Fine dining experience prefered
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and cocktail presentation.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who is willing to help colleagues during busy shifts.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.
• South Carolina Alcohol Safety Course completed and passed with documentation.
