Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and standards.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using SquarePOS systems.
• Provide attentive and friendly service to ensure an exceptional guest experience from greeting to farewell.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workstations in compliance with food safety standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately while managing tabs and credit card payments efficiently.
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, including banquet events if applicable.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest consumption to promote safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry, with fine dining experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, wine selection, and spirits expertise.
• Familiarity with Square POS system.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in retail math or food handling calculations.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments like restaurants or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cashiering and retail math calculations.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards.

Pay: $3.89 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 24.0 per week
