Bartender/Server

Position: Bar Tender/Server at Carey's Bar

Carey's Bar is a popular and vibrant establishment in the heart of Athlone, known for its lively atmosphere, friendly service, and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Bartender/Server to join our team.

As a Bartender/Server, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our customers by delivering excellent service, preparing and serving drinks, and helping to maintain a clean and efficient bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure all guests receive a warm welcome.
• Take customer orders, serve drinks and food, and process payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, service areas, and customer spaces.
• Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory control as required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Ensure all alcohol is served responsibly and in compliance with licensing regulations.
• Assist in opening and closing duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 5 Years previous experience in a bar, pub, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Friendly, positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices.
