Bartender/Server

Job Summary:

BAR-CELONA, a Spanish-inspired tapas bar and restaurant, is looking for an experienced Server/Bartender to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, providing exceptional service, and is comfortable working both on the floor and behind the bar.

The ideal candidate has experience serving tables and bartending, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
• Serve tapas, cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages with attention to detail
• Prepare and serve cocktails during assigned bar shifts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar and dining area
• Learn and promote menu items, specials, and events
• Process cash and card payments accurately
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and management to ensure smooth service
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally
• Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications

• Previous serving and bartending experience required
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha, or Micros preferred
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Team-oriented mindset and commitment to guest satisfaction
