Bartender/Server Combo

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate server and bartender to join our vibrant Gastropub Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a flair for crafting unique cocktails and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests through innovative drink offerings and engaging interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including food, cocktails, wines, and specialty drinks.
• Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and tailor drink selections to their preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink pairings with menu items.
• Utilize Toast POS system for order processing, payment handling, and tracking sales.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills during peak service hours to ensure timely delivery of drinks.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety guidelines in accordance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred, with a focus on bartending or mixology.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes, along with an understanding of retail math for inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also thriving independently during busy shifts.
• Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $5.49 - $10.00 per hour
