Bartender

Location: 201 N Main St Ste A, Blacksburg, VA 24060
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Bartender to join our team in downtown Blacksburg. The ideal candidate is friendly, responsible, works well in a fast-paced environment, and can provide great customer service while keeping the bar organized and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Check customer IDs and follow all Virginia alcohol service regulations.
• Take drink and food orders accurately.
• Handle cash and POS transactions.
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized.
• Restock liquor, beer, mixers, ice, glassware, and other supplies.
• Monitor alcohol inventory and notify management when items are running low.
• Work closely with Servers, Hosts, and other team members during busy hours.
• Follow responsible alcohol service and food safety procedures.
• Complete opening and closing duties for the bar.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or bar experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of common cocktails, beer, wine, and liquor is preferred.
• Must meet all Virginia legal requirements for serving alcohol.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Friday and Saturday night availability is strongly preferred.

Experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong restaurant experience and a willingness to learn.

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
