Bartender/Waitress

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional (must be over 18 due serving alcoholic drink) Bartender/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service to our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing bar and table service. Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and take their orders with attentiveness and professionalism
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
• Take food orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations throughout shifts
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, issuing receipts as required
• Provide recommendations on drinks and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations at all times
• Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or dining area as needed
• Engage with guests to foster a friendly atmosphere, encouraging repeat visits

Skills

• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments accurately
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation and food service standards is desirable
• Organised with strong attention to detail in both service delivery and cleanliness
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
