Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, utilizing your mixology skills and beverage recipe knowledge.
• Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring prompt and friendly service that exceeds expectations.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience through excellent customer service.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies as needed, and assist with bar management tasks to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
• Handle cash handling procedures responsibly while maintaining a positive attitude in a lively nightlife or restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending, serving, or food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with beverage recipe development and mixology techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving drinks, taking orders, and processing transactions.
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, cocktail creation, and beverage safety standards.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales upselling, and accurate processing of payments.
• Experience with food safety practices and maintaining cleanliness standards in food industry settings.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as required by nightlife or restaurant operations.
