Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems with efficiency and professionalism
• Serve drinks and meals promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld during food preparation, serving, and handling
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to health regulations at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and resolve any issues quickly

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant or serving experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food preparation techniques
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and change handling
• Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for understanding menu items and preparation processes
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Familiarity with upselling techniques to promote menu items confidently and naturally

Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour
