This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about helping future physicians understand the mechanisms of disease and the role of pathology in clinical practice. The successful candidate will deliver innovative, interactive instruction in pathology, including histopathology, while fostering student engagement through active learning, small-group teaching, case-based discussions, and simulation-based education.

At AUC, clinical skills training begins in the first semester and continues throughout all five medical sciences semesters, supported by an exceptional simulation center that utilizes professional standardized patients. • Develop, update, and deliver engaging educational content, incorporating student and peer feedback to continuously enhance the learning experience.
  • Facilitate interactive lectures, small-group learning sessions, case-based discussions, and simulation-based activities.
  • Supervise and support student learning in both actual and simulated clinical environments.
  • Serve as a positive professional role model, supporting students' academic, professional, and social development.

Assessment & Curriculum Development

  • Design, administer, and evaluate formative and summative assessments that prepare students for licensing examinations and clinical rotations.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, development, integration, and delivery to ensure a high-quality educational experience.

Service & Professional Engagement

  • Maintain expertise in the discipline through ongoing professional development and scholarly engagement.
  • Serve on university committees and actively contribute to institutional initiatives and activities.
  • Participate in additional departmental or university responsibilities as assigned.
  • Comply with all university policies, procedures, and professional standards.
