Basketball Trainer

Next Level Basketball is South Florida's premier basketball facility and home of our player development program! Our Hollywood location is a 12,000 SQ.FT. state of the art facility which offers a regulation full-court, two half-courts and a weight room with a turf strip for our players and community members to enjoy. Our facility offers a wide array of services, from skill and athletic development training for youth athletes in our player development program, to club teams for our athletes to compete on. Additionally, our facility offers facility rentals for basketball and other events.

What we are looking for:

Firstly, we’re looking for a “Next Level Person.” Our ideal candidate is an ardent competitor with a drive to succeed. We would like candidates who enjoy being in a professional environment that develops them and have an engaging personality. Following that, we are looking for someone with a strong passion for basketball and teaching the game, who is hands-on in demonstrating on the court.

Position offered:

• Lead Skills Development Coach: A basketball trainer and coach.
• Location: Next Level Basketball Hollywood.

Duties:

• A lead skill development coach is tasked with leading basketball training sessions with our players throughout the week. This coach will work with players on different levels of our skill spectrum (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3).
• An SDC will be tasked with coaching a club team throughout the year (potentially on a seasonal basis).
• An SDC will participate in weekly meetings with the coaching staff and is expected to listen, collaborate and execute plans.
• An SDC is a leadership role. An SDC is expected to lead most of the time during training sessions, often supported by an associate coach.
• An SDC will be assigned individual players for private training.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field). Alternatively, we will consider individuals in route to a degree.
• At least two years of experience in basketball training.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
