Batch Plant Coordinator

Hyundai Construction is Korea’s premier global construction leader with a 78-year legacy.

Currently, we are spearheading a historic $5.8 billion integrated steel mill project in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. As the primary force behind this landmark development, we are building the first integrated electric arc furnace (EAF) facility in the U.S., delivering world-class industrial infrastructure on a global scale.

To drive this monumental vision forward, we are seeking a highly skilled Batch plant Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the technical excellence of this landmark facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support overall Batch Plant mobilization, permitting, construction, and operational coordination activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, project teams, and local authorities to facilitate planning, logistics, documentation, and schedule tracking.
• Assist with project reporting, permit follow-up, material deliveries, meeting coordination, and daily operational support.
• Serve as a local point of contact to ensure timely communication and effective execution of Batch Plant-related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3-10 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering, project coordination, or industrial operations.
• Experience in construction projects, concrete batch plant operations, logistics, materials management, or industrial plant projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong project coordination and schedule management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with concrete batch plant operations or the ready-mix concrete industry.
• Previous experience supporting industrial or large-scale construction projects in Louisiana.
• Knowledge of permitting processes, regulatory compliance, and governmental approvals.
