At Savu, we believe that wellness should be a part of daily life. Since opening our first sauna in 2021, we've been building spaces and experiences that bring people together through the restorative power of heat, cold, and community.

Our new Burlington bathhouse takes that vision to the next level, bringing sauna, steam, hot tubs, and cold plunges together under one roof. We're creating a space where people from all walks of life can slow down, connect, and feel at home.

The Role

We're looking for Bathhouse Hosts to help bring the Savu experience to life.

As a Bathhouse Host, you'll be the face of Savu and play an essential role in creating an environment where every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and cared for. You'll guide guests through their experience, share your knowledge of our bathing facilities and practices, and help maintain the spaces that make Savu special.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends hospitality, education, and day-to-day operations. One moment you might be welcoming a first-time guest and explaining the benefits of hot and cold bathing; the next, you'll be refreshing the space, preparing for a new group of guests, or helping someone make the most of their visit.

Above all, we're looking for people who genuinely enjoy taking care of others, take pride in their work, and want to contribute to a positive, inclusive community.

What You'll Do

Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Warmly welcome guests and create a friendly, inclusive, and comfortable environment for everyone.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and general inquiries.
• Introduce first-time visitors to the bathhouse, helping them feel confident navigating the space and its amenities.
• Anticipate guest needs, answer questions, and provide thoughtful, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Handle guest concerns and unexpected situations with patience, professionalism, and good judgment.
• Build meaningful relationships with our guests and help foster a strong sense of community.

Bathing Education & Safety

• Educate guests on the safe and responsible use of saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and cold plunges.
• Introduce guests to the principles and practices of hot and cold bathing, helping them find an experience that works for them.
• Communicate bathhouse etiquette and encourage a respectful, comfortable shared environment.
• Monitor guest areas to help maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
• Recognize potential safety concerns and respond appropriately in accordance with Savu's procedures and training.

Bathhouse Operations & Care

• Maintain exceptionally clean, organized, and inviting guest spaces throughout the day.
• Perform regular cleaning and resetting of saunas, steam rooms, bathing areas, changing rooms, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Process laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking towels and other linens.
• Collect, clean, sanitize, and organize guest sandals.
• Monitor and replenish supplies to ensure guests have everything they need.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, including preparing facilities for guests, cleaning, restocking, and securing the building.
• Support routine facility checks and report maintenance, cleanliness, or safety concerns.
• Take initiative in keeping the bathhouse running smoothly, even during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, wellness, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn Savu's bathing practices, safety protocols, and operating procedures.
• Comfort working in a physically active environment, including standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, squat, lift, carry, and perform routine cleaning and laundry duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work in warm, humid, and wet environments.
• Availability to work weekends and a flexible schedule.

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
