About the role

A S Plumbing & Heating Ltd is looking for an experienced Bathroom Fitter to join our growing team.

We carry out a range of bathroom installations and refurbishments, from standard bathroom replacements to higher-end projects where a quality finish and attention to detail are important.

We're looking for someone with strong carpentry and plumbing skills who enjoys transforming bathrooms and takes pride in producing a great finished result.

You'll be working on a variety of projects, with the opportunity to take responsibility for installations and develop your skills within a small, established company.

Tiling experience would be a bonus, but it isn't essential. We're more interested in finding someone with the right core skills, a good work ethic and a positive attitude.

What you'll be doing

• Installing bathrooms, including removing existing suites and preparing rooms for refurbishment.
• Carrying out plumbing work, including fitting sanitaryware, baths, showers, taps and pipework.
• Undertaking carpentry, including studwork, boxing-in, first and second fix work, and general bathroom preparation.
• Installing bathroom furniture, vanity units, toilets, basins and shower enclosures.
• Preparing walls and floors ready for finishing.
• Carrying out minor repairs and adjustments as required during installations.
• Working alongside other trades to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Ensuring installations are completed to a good standard and customers are left happy with the finished job.

What we're looking for

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience fitting bathrooms or working in a similar trade.
• Strong practical carpentry skills.
• Good plumbing knowledge and installation skills.
• The ability to work independently and organise your own workload.
• Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
• A reliable, professional approach and good timekeeping.
• The ability to communicate well with customers and other trades.
• A full UK driving licence.

Tiling skills are desirable but not essential. If your strengths are carpentry and plumbing, we'd still very much like to hear from you.

We welcome applications from experienced bathroom fitters as well as skilled carpenters or plumbers who have experience with bathroom installations and want to develop further in this area.
