Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Batrista to join our vibrant café team here at Haraz Coffee House! As a Batrista, you will be the heart of our coffee experience, crafting delicious beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink offerings with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, counters, tables, and food handling stations in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments and giving correct change using POS systems
• Assist in food handling duties such as preparing light snacks or accompaniments as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; a passion for coffee and beverage service is essential
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for retail transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of all ages
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
