Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of batt insulation and polyethylene (poly) vapor barriers in various building structures
• Use hand tools such as knives, screwdrivers, and tape measures to perform installation tasks accurately
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to understand project specifications
• Prepare work areas by measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation materials according to project requirements
• Support drywall installation and finishing tasks as needed to ensure smooth surfaces
• Apply caulking around windows, doors, and joints to ensure airtight seals and energy efficiency
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris safely

Requirements

• Prior construction experience or related background is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is advantageous but can be developed on the job
• Knowledge of drywall installation or experience working with insulation materials is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols at all times
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
