Battery Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time (1-Year Fixed Term Contract)

Project Location: Pengerang, Johor

Working Hours: 2 Shifts

Job Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Knowledge and experience in Solar PV would be added advantage
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at project sites.
• Assist in electrical and mechanical installation works.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely in accordance with company procedures and site requirements.
• Use and maintain tools, equipment and safety gear properly.
• Complete daily work reports and site documentation.
• Support the Project Engineer and Site Supervisor in achieving project milestones.

Job Requirements

• Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or related field.
• SPM with 2-3 years experience in battery industry would be considered.
• Willing to be based and work in Pengerang, Johor.
• Valid CIDB Card (Mandatory).
• Valid OGSP Certification (Mandatory).
• Possess a valid Car or Motorcycle Driving License (Mandatory).
• Possess NTSP Card will be an added advantage (Non Mandatory)
• Physically fit and in good health with no major medical conditions.
• Able to work indoor and in industrial site environments.
• Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Due to the physical nature of the role and industrial site working environment, this position is preferably suited for male candidates.
