BBQ/ Kitchen Support

Job Summary

This is a flexible, hands-on position that helps keep the restaurant running smoothly. The role is primarily responsible for dishwashing, but you’ll also help with BBQ service, restocking, basic food prep, general restaurant tasks, and filling in wherever the team needs an extra hand. You will assist in preparing delicious barbecue dishes and supporting the overall kitchen functions to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe food production.

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by cleaning utensils, equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas regularly
• Help with meal assembly and presentation to ensure dishes meet quality standards before serving
• Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold food safety regulations and prevent cross-contamination
• Aid in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels for restocking needs
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal prep, timing, and special dietary requests
• Requires long standing times

Skills

• Background in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food industry standards
• Demonstrated ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety management practices including proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in production environments
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with kitchen staff and team members
• Familiarity with culinary concepts such as cooking methods, food presentation, and dietary considerations

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
