BCM / Vehicle Access Engineer

Experience : 3-5 Years

Key Responsibilities

● Understand and analyze BCM architecture and vehicle access functionalities.

● Work on Keyfob-based locking, pairing, authentication, unlocking and vehicle access functions.

● Analyze NFC-based pairing and authentication flows.

● Understand Owner Pairing Architecture and vehicle-owner association.

● Analyze interactions between BCM, PEPS/PASE, NFC, Keyfob and other vehicle ECUs.

● Understand Zone/DHS architecture and BCM interfaces with relevant domain controllers. ● Review system requirements, architecture documents, interface specifications and functional flows.

● Support technical analysis and troubleshooting of BCM/vehicle access issues.

● Coordinate with customer, ECU suppliers and development teams for requirement clarification and issue resolution.

● Prepare and review architecture diagrams, functional flows and technical documentation.

● Support integration, validation and issue resolution activities related to BCM and vehicle access features.

Mandatory Skills

● Strong experience in BCM / Body Electronics.

● Good understanding of Vehicle Access / PEPS / PASE systems.

● Hands-on knowledge of Keyfob and NFC pairing processes.

● Understanding of BCM architecture and ECU interfaces.

● Good knowledge of CAN/CAN FD and automotive communication, log analysis.

● Ability to understand and interpret system/ECU architecture and requirements.

● Good technical communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have

● Experience with Digital Key.

● Knowledge of BLE, UWB and NFC technologies.

● Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer.

● Knowledge of UDS diagnostics.

● Experience with Gateway, PEPS/PASE and Domain Controller.

● Connected Vehicle / SDV experience.

● Experience working with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
