BDR / AE

nao is the #1 open-source analytics agent builder. Data teams use nao to build, test and deploy analytics agents on top of their warehouse, so business users can ask questions in plain English and get answers they can trust. We’re YC-backed (Spring 2025), based in Paris and San Francisco, with 200 data teams using the open-source product and enterprise customers in production.

We’re looking for a freelance BDR / AE, 3 days a week, to turn that open-source traction into revenue. You’ll work directly with Claire (CEO) and own the sales motion end to end: from spotting the right accounts among our open-source users to closing enterprise deals.

This is a freelance mission to start, with room to grow: we plan to increase it to more days a week over the coming months, and it can become a permanent full-time position.

Remote is OK, Paris is better: our office is in Paris 11 and we love having the team together.

What you’ll do:

• Qualify inbound and product-led leads (open-source users, Cloud sign-ups, community members) and book discovery calls

• Run outbound campaigns to Heads of Data and data leaders at B2B SaaS and enterprise companies (email, LinkedIn, events)

• Run discovery calls and demos, scope POCs with the customer’s data team, and close deals

• Manage your pipeline in our CRM (Twenty) and keep it clean

• Bring field feedback to the product team: what prospects ask for, why we win, why we lose

• Help build the sales playbook: sequences, qualification criteria, pricing conversations, case studies

• Experience in B2B sales (BDR, SDR or AE), dev tools or technical products preferred

• Fluent in English, written and spoken

• Comfortable running a discovery call and a demo with a Head of Data, and curious enough to learn SQL, data warehouses and AI agents

• Available 3 days a week now, and open to scaling up to full time

• Remote OK, Paris-based is a plus

• Autonomous and organized: you can own a pipeline without being handed a process
