About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and patient-focused Senior Dentist to join a reputed dental clinic or hospital. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical expertise, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day dental operations while ensuring high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
• Perform routine dental procedures, including scaling, polishing, fillings, extractions, and root canal treatments, as per clinical competency.
• Develop and explain appropriate treatment plans to patients.
• Handle complex dental cases within the scope of BDS qualification and clinical experience.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment charts, and clinical documentation.
• Ensure proper sterilization, infection control, and dental safety protocols.
• Supervise and guide junior dentists, dental assistants, and support staff.
• Coordinate with specialists for cases requiring advanced dental procedures.
• Support patient follow-ups, treatment acceptance, and overall patient satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with applicable clinical standards and professional ethics.

Requirements

• BDS degree from a recognized dental institution.
• Valid registration with the appropriate State Dental Council.
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general dentistry, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Excellent patient management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a dental team.
• Professional attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality care.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a multispecialty dental clinic or hospital.
• Strong treatment planning and case presentation skills.
• Experience mentoring junior dentists.
• Familiarity with dental practice management software and digital patient records.
