Beach Safety Ambassadors - (Part-time)

Job Role: Beach Patrol Ambassadors (Part-time)

Job Purpose: To ensure beach safety and provide exceptional guest experiences at Sentosa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a beach spotter, supporting the Beach Patrol Officer in executing lifeguard duties and maintaining beach safety.
• Provide prompt and effective first aid services as and when required.
• Deliver comprehensive & educational beach safety guidance to guests, fostering a culture of safety and awareness.
• Serve as a beach sentry, verifying the validity of delivery orders or prior approvals for vehicles entering the beach zone.
• Manage Beach 3 and operate the intercom system, ensuring the manned presence of Beach HQ during operating hours, and handling general administrative tasks.
• Undertake marine safety responsibilities, including the collection of fish traps, trawling, and other assigned maintenance duties.
• Fulfill any other tasks as directed by the supervisor, contributing to the overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Able to swim 200 meters in open water (advantageous).
• Possession of a Bronze Medallion by Singapore Life Saving Society (advantageous).
• Knowledge of First Aid and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) (advantageous).
• Be able to communicate fluently in English
• Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays on rotating shifts
• Enjoy outdoor and beach environments
• Positive work attitude and team player.
• Guest-oriented with good interpersonal skills
• Training will be provided
