Beam Line Operator

Based in Whyalla,  Northern Regions of South Australia, Gadaleta Steel Fabrication delivers projects for clients across the infrastructure, mining and industrial sectors.

We currently have a Full-time, Permanent position available for our Plate and Beam processing equipment

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Data entry for CNC operated machines

• Assist with loading and unloading materials

• As these are specialised machines all on the job training will be provided.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills

• Current driver’s licence

• A strong work ethic and must have attention to detail

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical

• Good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe

Advantages:

1.      Previous experience with wood or steel CNC machine operations

2.      Knowledge and experience in the use of CAD/CAM software.

3.      Able to interpret shop drawings

4.      Mechanically minded
