Beam Line Operator / CNC Operator (Python X SPG) – 2nd Shift

Harris Fabrication is hiring a 2nd Shift Beam Line Operator / CNC Operator to run our Python X SPG structural steel processing machine. This role is ideal for experienced operators—or motivated learners—who prefer night shift work, higher pay, and a more independent workflow.

2nd shift plays a critical role in keeping production moving, and we pay accordingly.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $16–$23/hr (DOE) + $2.00/hr shift differential

Shift: 2nd Shift / Night Shift

Hours: Full-time, overtime available

What You’ll Do

• Operate a Python X SPG CNC beam line for structural steel processing
• Load, run, and adjust CNC programs independently
• Perform beam line setup and changeovers
• Pull and stage steel material from inventory
• Measure, inspect, and verify part accuracy and tolerances
• Perform in-process quality checks and report issues
• Clean, unload, and mark finished steel parts
• Troubleshoot basic CNC / beam line issues
• Maintain safe, consistent production throughout the shift

What We’re Looking For

• CNC, beam line, or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and stay focused on repetitive jobs
• Blueprint reading and measuring skills
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
