Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Beam Saw Operator to join our woodworking team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized beam saw equipment to accurately cut sheet goods according to project specifications. Your expertise will ensure precise cuts, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities

• Operate beam saw machines to cut sheet goods with precision, following detailed construction plans and blueprints.
• Set up and calibrate saw equipment, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed during operation.
• Measure, mark, and verify materials before cutting to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.
• Perform routine maintenance on saw machinery, including cleaning, adjustments, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations related to power tool safety, heavy lifting, and construction site protocols.

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines.
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards, especially regarding power tools and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during material handling..
• Experience in remodeling projects including cabinet installation, restoration work in the industry sector, flooring upgrades, siding repairs or replacements.
• Experience with Homag, Holzma saw is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects while maintaining quality standards.

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
