Beat Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and responsive Beat Engineer to join our operational team at PT Secom Indonesia. As a Beat Engineer, you will be the frontline professional responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our security systems and providing rapid, on-site technical support to our clients. You are a crucial part of our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, acting as the first responder to technical incidents. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta

What you'll be doing

• Responding immediately to alarm system alerts from our Control Center, diagnosing technical issues, and performing on-the-spot troubleshooting to resolve problems efficiently.
• Conducting scheduled patrols to proactively inspect and maintain the health of security systems at various client sites.
• Maintaining clear and constant communication with our Control Center, providing real-time updates on your activities and the status of incidents.
• Conducting the commissioning and setup of new alarm systems, ensuring they meet SECOM’s high standards of quality and procedure.
• Acting as a first responder for any security-related cases at our client's premises, ensuring a swift and professional resolution.
• Performing pre- and post-duty checks on your assigned vehicle and inventory, ensuring all equipment is in excellent working order.
• Completing clear and accurate administrative reports related to your daily tasks, patrols, and incident responses.
• Assisting in monitoring the performance and adherence to procedures of on-site security personnel as directed.

What we're looking for

• A degree (Min. D3 or Bachelor's) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is highly preferred. We welcome fresh graduates with a strong technical aptitude and a passion for problem-solving.
• A valid SIM A driver's license and a proven record of safe driving skills are essential for this role.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose technical problems quickly and accurately.
• A responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a calm and professional demeanor, especially under pressure.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the [Jakarta/Surabaya] area to ensure rapid response times.
• Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and follow procedures diligently.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, will be a significant advantage.
