Reports To: Administrator

Job Summary:

The overall purpose of the Beautician is to provide cosmetology services to patients.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is necessary.
• Texas Cosmetology License in good standing.
• A working knowledge of current cosmetology practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Essential Functions:

• Must dress and act in professional manner.
• Perform duties of a licensed Beautician, adhering to all applicable Texas Regulations under the Texas Cosmetology Commission.
• Has reviewed Cantex Continuing Care Network's Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and knows the employee’s responsibility to enforce it.
• Completes other tasks/duties as assigned by the Administrator, regional or corporate management.
• Attends weekly in-services, understands, and complies with patient Care Management Systems.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
