Duties

• Provide professional hair styling services, including cuts, blowouts, and special occasion styles, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Master and perform advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to meet diverse client needs.
• Consult with clients on color theory and recommend personalized color treatments that enhance their natural beauty.
• Operate salon software systems like Vagaro for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations.
• Upsell retail products effectively through retail math skills while providing excellent customer service at the front desk.

Experience

• Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across cuts, colors, and special techniques.
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as Vagary or similar platforms for efficient operations.
• Skilled in advanced hair treatments including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading.
• Formal education in cosmetology or barbering from an accredited program; certification required.
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols, retail sales strategies, and upselling techniques to maximize revenue.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with clients and team members alike.
