Beautician -zero hours contract

Overview

We are Beaux Cheveux by Katie, we are based in Sunderland City Centre within the commissioners building, SR1 1NW. We currently have two stylists offering hair extensions services and we are looking to add beauty services to our salon. We'd like to recruit someone on a zero hours temporary contract, which will be reviewed after 3 months if successful will look to offer a permanent contract with fixed hours. We will start by offering the following services: lash extensions, lash lifting and tinting, brow tinting and waxing, brow lamination and/or nail services; extensions (acrylic + builder gel), nail art, gel nail painting, toe gel nails, manicures and/or makeup services.

Duties

Perform professional services to client preferences

Provide high-quality beauty treatments

Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering expert advice

Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, following health and safety regulations

Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they feel valued and satisfied with their experience

Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences for future visits

Assist with product recommendations and retail sales to enhance client satisfaction

Experience

Experience working with customers in some capacity preferable

Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to connect confidently with clients

Demonstrated skill in beauty services such as; eye lash extensions, nail extensions, brow and lash tint, brow and facial waxing

Knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques to provide innovative services

Ability to work flexibly on a zero hours basis, adapting to fluctuating client demand.

A friendly, professional attitude with a passion for enhancing clients’ confidence and well-being
