Purpose Drive sales growth by managing and expanding brand/category accounts in a modern social commerce ecosystem. Unlike traditional retail trade roles, this position integrates brand partnerships with livestream selling, affiliate networks, and platform-native campaigns to deliver measurable GMV and margin impact.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Beauty Buyer & Brand Development to identify and develop high-potential beauty brands from Korea and China for the Vietnam market.

In this role, you will take ownership of the process from brand evaluation, product selection, commercial negotiation, purchasing and launch planning to sales performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Brand & Product Evaluation (30%)

• Find, review and evaluate potential Korean and Chinese beauty brands.

• Analyze brand potential in the Vietnam market, including brand positioning, product quality and differentiation, product portfolio, price positioning, competitor landscape, consumer demand and trends, social media / KOL / KOC potential, current presence and distribution in Vietnam, and sales potential and scalability.

• Identify the hero products / key SKUs that have the highest potential for the Vietnam market.

• Brand Partnership (30%)

• Contact and work directly with partners, suppliers, brand owners, and distributors.

• Negotiate commercial terms, including purchase price, MOQ, payment terms, distribution rights, exclusivity, marketing support, sampling / tester support, launch support, sales targets and commercial incentives.

• Build long-term relationships with key brand partners.

• Work with internal teams to finalize commercial agreements and partnership conditions.

• Product Selection & PO Planning (30%)

• Build the product assortment strategy for each new brand, work closely with the E-commerce operations team.

• Recommend initial SKUs and quantities based on market demand, expected sales, margin, MOQ, lead time and inventory risk.

• Prepare initial PO proposals and business cases.

• Coordinate with internal teams regarding product documentation, import requirements, logistics, product registration/compliance and delivery timeline.

• Monitor order progress and ensure products are ready for launch.

• Brand Launch & Sales Performance (10%)

• Work closely with the E-commerce operations team to launch new brands and maintain sale performance

• Analyze sales, conversion, inventory and profitability.

• Identify underperforming products and propose corrective actions.

• Work with brand partners to obtain additional pricing support, promotion support, marketing budget, samples / testers, content assets and sales incentives.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Beauty Buyer, Category Buyer, Merchandiser, Business Development, or Category Management.

• Strong experience in beauty and/or e-commerce and understanding of the Vietnam beauty market and consumer trends.

• Existing networks with Korean and/or Chinese beauty brands is a strong advantage.

• Experience in negotiating with suppliers / brands and managing commercial deals.

• Good at English, Chinese or Korean is a strong plus
