Beauty Technician Assistant

BAGIYAL BEAUTY SERVICES LIMITED is seeking Beauty Technician Assistants to join its team in Hamilton. The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to supporting the team in delivering professional beauty services while ensuring clients receive attentive and timely service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist beauty technicians with routine beauty salon services and client preparation.
• Prepare clients for beauty treatments by cleansing and preparing the skin and ensuring they are comfortable before treatment.
• Assist with basic beauty treatments and services under the direction of qualified beauty technicians.
• Prepare, clean and organise treatment areas, equipment, tools and beauty products before and after client appointments.
• Assist with manicures, pedicures, waxing, eyebrow shaping and other routine salon services as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment areas, equipment and tools in accordance with salon health and hygiene procedures.
• Clean, disinfect and sterilise reusable beauty equipment and dispose of used materials appropriately.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining stock of beauty products, supplies and treatment materials.
• Greet clients, assist with appointment arrangements and maintain basic client records as required.
• Provide general information to clients about salon services and refer treatment or product-related queries to the Beauty Therapist or Technician.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $24 to $28 per hour.

Other Requirements:

• Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory, as we provide full training.
• Availability to work weekends as required.
• Friendly and courteous approach with good customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail when assisting with salon services.
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently when required.
• Willingness to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and salon presentation.

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
