Beauty Trainer

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Beauty Trainer to elevate the skills, knowledge, and performance of our therapists, consultants, and clinic teams. The Beauty Trainer plays a critical role in ensuring service excellence, treatment competency, product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and customer experience consistency across all outlets.

The ideal candidate is an experienced beauty professional with strong coaching abilities, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for developing people.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Conduct onboarding training for all new hires, including therapists, consultants, and customer service staff.

• Develop and deliver structured training programs covering:

  • Facial treatments
  • Body treatments
  • Aesthetic treatment knowledge
  • Product knowledge
  • Customer service excellence
  • Sales and consultation skills

• Ensure all staff are competent and confident before independently serving customers.

• Create training materials, SOPs, manuals, assessments, and training videos.

• Organise refresher training sessions and skills enhancement workshops regularly.

Treatment & Technical Competency

• Train staff on treatment protocols, procedures, safety standards, and service techniques.
• Conduct practical assessments and competency evaluations.
• Ensure consistency in treatment delivery across all branches.
• Monitor treatment standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, products, and treatment advancements.

Sales & Consultation Training

• Coach staff on effective consultation techniques and customer communication.
• Train team members on objection handling, customer needs analysis, and treatment recommendations.
• Improve conversion rates through structured sales coaching and role-playing exercises.
• Support management in driving sales performance through skills development.

Quality Assurance & Service Excellence

• Conduct regular outlet visits to observe service delivery and staff performance.
• Perform service audits and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify training gaps and implement corrective action plans.

Performance Coaching

• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Support branch managers in developing underperforming staff.
• Track staff training progress and maintain training records.
• Assist in succession planning and leadership development initiatives.

New Treatment & Product Launches

• Lead internal training for new treatment and product launches.
• Work closely with management, doctors, and suppliers to understand treatment protocols.
• Ensure all teams are certified and ready before launch.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Beauty, Aesthetics, Training, Adult Education, or related field.
• ACTA, ACLP, or equivalent training certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the beauty, spa, wellness, or aesthetic industry.
• Prior experience as a trainer, senior therapist, clinic educator, or training manager is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of facial, body, and aesthetic treatments.
• Ability to influence and motivate adult learners.
