Motif on Music Row Hotel is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Nashville's iconic Music Row. We are committed to creating memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Our beverage program currently operates under a beer permit. We will be proudly serving a curated selection of craft and domestic beers along with hard seltzers, flavored malt beverages, non-alcoholic beers, specialty lemonades, teas, and other refreshing beverages. No liquor or cocktail preparation is required.

Position Summary

We're looking for an energetic, personable Bartender to provide outstanding service to hotel guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting bar environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality and guest interaction without the complexity of a full liquor program.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Serve beer, hard seltzers, flavored malt beverages, and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly.
• Verify guest identification and comply with all Tennessee alcohol laws.
• Learn and confidently discuss our beer selection and beverage offerings.
• Take beverage orders from bar guests and servers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas.
• Restock beer, canned beverages, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hotel standards.
• Work collaboratively with hotel and food & beverage team members to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Beer knowledge is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Must meet Tennessee age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
