Job Overview-Boise/Nampa
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Beertender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving a variety of beers and beverages in a lively and engaging atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of craft beer knowledge.

Duties

• Serve a diverse selection of beers and beverages to customers while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper glassware and equipment handling.
• Accurately process transactions using cash registers or Arryved POS systems, ensuring correct cash handling practices.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations based on their preferences and educate them about different beer styles.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality role, particularly as a bartender or beertender, is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for craft beer and an eagerness to learn about different styles and brewing processes is highly desirable.
